Warranty Policy

  2. At least 07 days have to give us time for warranty support.

How to Replace

Gather a small Phillips #0 screwdriver, a plastic prying tool (or spudger), and ensure you are working on a clean, flat surface.

  1. Turn off your laptop and unplug the power adapter.

  2. Disconnect any USB drives, mice, or other external peripherals.

  3. Close the lid and flip the laptop upside down.

Step 1: Remove the Base Enclosure

  1. Loosen the 11 captive Phillips-head screws securing the bottom cover. Note that one screw is usually located right under the SD card slot.

  2. Insert your plastic pry tool along the seam of the bottom cover, starting near the rear hinges.

  3. Gently pop the clips loose all the way around the perimeter.

  4. Lift the base enclosure away and set it aside.

Step 2: Disconnect the Battery

  1. Locate the large internal battery occupying the lower section of the motherboard.

  2. Remove the two captive Phillips screws securing the battery to the plastic chassis.

  3. Pull the battery up using its plastic pull tab to safely disconnect it from the motherboard. Working on internal components with the battery plugged in can cause electrical shorts.

Step 3: Remove the Old Cooling Fan

  1. Locate the cooling fan near the upper corner of the motherboard.

  2. Carefully unplug the small, multi-wire fan power cable from the motherboard header. Pull gently by the solid plastic connector, not the fragile wires.

  3. Peel back any black adhesive sealing tape that bridges the gap between the plastic fan housing and the copper heatsink fins.

  4. Remove the two small Phillips screws holding the fan into the chassis.

  5. Lift the faulty fan out of the laptop.

Step 4: Install the New Fan

  1. Drop the replacement fan into the same exact position.

  2. Fasten the two Phillips screws to secure it.

  3. Reapply the adhesive tape over the seam connecting the fan to the heatsink exhaust vent so that cooling air doesn’t escape.

  4. Plug the new fan’s power cable back into the motherboard header.

Step 5: Reassembly

  1. Place the battery back into its housing bay and tighten its two captive screws.

  2. Align the bottom base enclosure over the laptop.

  3. Press down firmly around all the edges until the clips snap perfectly into place.

  4. Tighten all 11 screws on the bottom cover to finish the repair.
